⭐ 1/5I WENT TO THIS HOTEL ON VACATION AND LEFT WITH A CONCUSSION. I AM ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED BY HOW I WAS TREATED.I never imagined that staying at a Marriott hotel could end with me in urgent care, diagnosed with a concussion, all because a glass bathroom door shattered on top of me that was installed incorrectly. On Saturday, October 17, I was closing the sliding glass bathroom door in Room 607 when, completely out of nowhere, the entire door shattered. Glass came crashing down on my head, cutting my arms and hands, leaving me bleeding and bruising my foot. There was glass everywhere. It was one of the most frightening experiences I’ve ever had.I have since been evaluated at urgent care and was diagnosed with a concussion. I am still trying to process how something so dangerous could happen from simply closing a bathroom door. What makes me even angrier is how little concern this hotel showed for my safety afterward. My friend immediately called the front desk to explain what happened and that I was bleeding. Their response? They sent a DELIVERY ROBOT WITH BAND-AIDS. Because it was a robot, and I was trapped behind the glass, I was never even able to get the bandaids and the robot left. I had just been hit in the head by a glass door, was bleeding, and was surrounded by broken glass. And apparently, that was the level of assistance this hotel thought was appropriate. No manager initially came to check on me. Nobody seemed particularly concerned about whether I needed medical attention. Instead, we had to repeatedly ask for help, insist on an incident report, and fight to be moved out of a room that was covered in glass. We were initially told there were no rooms available, but somehow another room became available once my friend went downstairs and pushed the issue. We also noticed and photographed dark scraping marks on the bathroom floor where the glass door had been dragging. Seeing those marks afterward made me even more upset because I couldn’t stop wondering whether this was something that could have been caught before I got hurt. Then I learned that management was refusing to fully refund our stay because the incident happened toward the end of our reservation.I honestly don’t know what is more insulting: that explanation or the complete lack of compassion shown after I was injured.I HAVE A CONCUSSION BECAUSE A GLASS DOOR SHATTERED ON MY HEAD WHILE I WAS STAYING AT THIS HOTEL.I didn’t go on vacation expecting to end up in urgent care, dealing with medical expenses, physical injuries, and the anxiety of what happened. I certainly didn’t expect to have to fight with hotel staff just to receive basic assistance afterward. The hotel documented the incident, and we have photographs of the shattered glass, my injuries, and the condition of the bathroom. For anyone considering staying here, this happened in ROOM 607. I have no idea whether every piece of glass was removed afterward, but given how far the fragments scattered, I would be extremely cautious about staying in that room.I am furious. I am shaken. And I am incredibly disappointed that a hotel operating under the Marriott name could handle a serious guest injury with so little urgency or empathy. The worst part is knowing that I was doing something completely normal, something every guest should be able to do without a second thought, and I ended up with a head injury.I DO NOT FEEL SAFE RETURNING TO THIS PROPERTY, AND I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE.No vacation should end this way. And no injured guest should be treated the way I was.

My stay at the AC Hotel Beverly Hills was the worst Marriott experience I've ever had. I am furious about what happened and how this hotel handled it.On Saturday, October 17, my friend was closing the sliding glass bathroom door in Room 607 when the entire door violently shattered. Glass struck her head, cut her hands and arms, caused bleeding, and injured her foot. Shards flew into our luggage, clothing, and shoes. She later went to urgent care and was DIAGNOSED WITH A CONCUSSION.We photographed dark scraping marks on the floor where, instead of gliding properly, the glass door was making direct contact with the floor as it moved. This raises serious questions about the condition and maintenance of the door.I immediately called the front desk and told them my friend was BLEEDING. Their response? THEY SENT A DELIVERY ROBOT WITH BAND-AIDS. No manager initially came upstairs to check on her. We had to push for an incident report and another room. First, we were told the hotel was fully booked. Only after I went downstairs and insisted did another room become available.Even after housekeeping cleaned up, we found MORE BROKEN GLASS left in the room. Someone had already been injured, and the hotel couldn't even properly clean up the shattered glass. The general manager's response was equally disgraceful. I requested a full refund of our stay. Instead, I was told General Manager Kevin Briggs authorized only partial compensation because the incident happened near the end of our stay and supposedly hadn't ruined the entire visit. My friend suffered a CONFIRMED CONCUSSION, cuts, bleeding, and bruising. Using the timing of the incident to justify that decision is absolutely outrageous. We emailed the general manager, Marriott corporate, and the hotel's management company, Azul Hospitality Group, detailing what happened and requesting a response within 24 hours. WE RECEIVED NO RESPONSE.WARNING TO FUTURE GUESTS: BEWARE OF ROOM 607. Glass scattered throughout the room and our belongings, and we personally found fragments remaining after staff cleaned. I have no confidence that the room was thoroughly cleaned or inspected afterward. We have photographs of the injuries, shattered door, floor markings, and the hotel's incident report. This was not a minor service complaint. A guest suffered a concussion and multiple injuries in her hotel room, and management's response was unacceptable from beginning to end.I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN, AND I STRONGLY RECOMMEND OTHERS AVOID THIS PROPERTY.Absolutely absurd and disgraceful.

Location is great. The staff is friendly. The rooftop restaurant is lovey and has a great view of the Hollywood sign. The pool is small. Overall we will be back our daughter is at UCLA and we will come back.

There aren’t enough words to express how grateful we are for our wonderful experience with AC Hotel by Marriott - Beverly Hills. We stayed there for our wedding and hosted a Night Before dinner there. When we arrived there was a slight issue with our room, suite vs regular room; however, the front desk clerk called our event coordinator, who then called me personally. She apologized, and turned around to come back and fix the details herself. This is in LA traffic during rush hour. She could have worked it out over the phone with staff, but she wanted to ensure the night before my wedding was as expected. We also hosted a Night Before Dinner at the Nava rooftop bar. I was skeptical of the food because it’s a hotel, but my guests and I were not disappointed! There was barely anything left! I didn’t anticipate the Assistant Event Coordinator to attend because there was staff assigned and my group was small. She was there ensuring I was happy, even making sure we had pens for a game without asking. The view was also AMAZING for its location (comments by CA natives) and we kept the seating casual. They helped with a sound system for the mic and we just used the hotel music. I appreciate the options I was given for my small group of 30+ to remain within my budget and still have a great experience. Afterward, it was exciting to arrive back to our room to see reusable beach gift bags waiting for us filled with snacks and libations, which were awesome after returning back from the wedding the following day! The staff treated us as if they knew us and it made our stay feel warm. They seemed as excited for my wedding as we were, and assisted with given out our welcome bags to guests. Considering I was coming from TN, site unseen, i’m quite pleased. I had one hiccup with air being a little high in one of my rooms; however, they worked on it quickly and brought me fans immediately while they worked on it. They offered another room but I was too lazy to move, and I used my other room. We were fine by the night. If customer service is the key, they unlocked the door. Rita Simmons and Angel McGhee are awesome Event Coordinators! If you have an event or you are getting married at Albertson Wedding Chapel, stay here!! It was a very short drive to the chapel. I had a package arrive over a month after our stay, and the staff did their best to track me down to let me know. I would definitely stay there again, if for no other reason the service.
