A small and well maintained park. The staff are friendly and very helpful.It has a lovely common area which is well shaded which leads to a boardwalk going to the private area on the river. Great swimming and kayaking. Bathroom and showers were clean. Laundry room was well maintained and available. A quiet restful place next to the Guadalupe river.

We were looking for a place to be able to just get in the river without floating downstream since we had small children and this was thre perfect place! Sat our chairs in the river and enjoyed watching the kids play in the shallow and calm waters.

We have passed this park several times lately. It is a beautiful little park with some limited parking on the street and access to the Guadalupe River. There is room to wade out a ways without going over your head. This park is just upriver and on the opposite bank from Cypress Bend Park, and much smaller. If you go, be sure to park where allowed. The areas closer to the neighborhoods are permit parking only and you may get towed. Each time I have been by there I have seen deer on the yards adjacent to the park. It is a cute little spot on the Guadalupe!
