On the edge of the Hudson River overlooking Mid Hudson Bridge. Small park and info center. The debris piles were a bit off putting. This is off the beaten path and very twisty road from the town of Highland. Maybe ok for a stop with friends for a picnic. A bit desolate.

During the pandemic, we used this spot to meet our son outdoors as it is between where we both live. There are picnic tables, a pavillion, scenic views of the Hudson and separate boat launches for both power boats and kayaks/canoes. There is also a Port-a-Potty. It should be noted that the park is on the east side of railroad tracks, so trains are a frequent campanion, and may delay your entering or leaving the park, if a long line of rail cars is passing by.

Located just below the Walkway over the Hudson bridge, this little waterfront park has some great views. Interesting perspective for the railroad bridge that they turned into a walkway. I even saw a bald eagle fly over the river to the hills above. It was very quiet there on a sunny weekend day, very few people there. It is just on the other side of the train tracks and there were a couple freight trains that went by while I was there. That was a pretty cool bonus. There is an old restaurant that is all broken down and taped off. They have a small covered pavilion in the park and a short walkway at the water.
