We used Horse Country to help plan our long weekend visit to Lexington and Louisville in Feb 2025. We cannot give enough praise for the FANTASTIC experience we had utilizing Horse Country when planning our visit. Jamie Hulet is SUPERB. She was a great resource as we were deciding what tours to book and was very quick to respond to any questions or emails we had. We were fortunate enough to even meet her in person when we arrived at one of our tours, because she happened to be at the farm we were visiting and she was just as charming in person. We booked the Mill Ridge Farm Tour and the Hagyard Equine Medical Institute Tour and would highly recommend both of these tours. The Horse Country website was a wealth of information, extremely user friendly, well laid out, and the staff was just as exceptional. We would 1000% utilize Horse Country in the future when looking to plan another visit to Lexington/Louisville!

I had a phenomenal tour (Kenneland Morning Works) with Mike. He was extremely knowledgeable and personable, and took the time to answer questions. We got to see several horses on the track and toured a few of the facilities. If you have an interest in Kentucky horse racing, or you just want to tour something new, don't miss this opportunity! Catch a glimpse of proud history, stunning views, and a sport unlike any other. Oh, and get ready to take a lot of pictures!

Great time in a beautiful place. It's like a beautiful park there. It was very chilly outside, but what a great experience to see the horses work out and to be able to ask any question you wanted. Our guide, Clark was awesome.

Loved the 1 hour morning tour. Guide was very nice, informative and enjoyable! Lovely facilities and thoroughly enjoyed our day at the races. The bread pudding is to die for! Delicious! Great day for us!

My visit to the Kentucky Equine Adoption Center in Nicholasville, Ky was outstanding. From the tour guide to the trainers and even the volunteers were caring, friendly, and stopped what they were doing to tell you about the horses. You can certainly tell how much time and care goes into the horses and they all need forever homes! I was so impressed with this farm and highly recommend a visit!!
