Most of these reviews are for the school, which is not run by the church, but by the Oakland Diocese.The church itself is a very different entity that follows closely the ord of the mass in its celebrations. Most of the decorative beauty of the church was donated over the century by generations of congregants, and the architecture is Portugese and exquisite. The Saints can be found throughout the church. From my memory you can see many Catholic: St. Jude, St. Francis, St. Joseph, Father Pio, St Teresa of Avila and of course Mother Mary can be found here as appropriate to the name.In future reviews, please reserve your articles for the church and look for a separate space for your reviews of the school. We went to All Saints Catholic Church in Hayward This is a very large Catholic Church and School. It was founded in 1909.

I have driven past this specific church for many years when I went to CSU East Bay. I went to the building for the first time to see how the church actually would look inside. It was very beautiful.

I thought it was unusual they do not allow parents to visit the classrooms even on the first day of school. They made sure to cash my checks even though they did not always provide purchased items to the children. They host a carnival and don't monitor if kids eat or not, leave them to wander as they wish even little grades. We decided to leave after bringing up bullying issues and they said they would like to do an exit interview and were sorry but still charged the full years tuition. Some families love it but I was very disappointed. The first communion process was overbearing requiring Saturday classes for parents for 12 weeks and you are not guaranteed a slot in English or Spanish mass based on your preference. If you are looking for a place to be a family this is not where I suggest.

This historic lovely was established in 1868 and the edifice today has more contemporary roots in 1909, and the 40's and 50's. Fortunately, the Spanish Mission exterior has pretty much remained intact. The elementary school rounds out its mission to the community.
