Wildflower Preschool is a neighborhood school that includes preschool and pre-K programs, serving children between the ages of 2 1/2-6 years old. At Wildflower Preschool, we foster the child as a scientist; always experimenting, exploring nature, testing their hypotheses and continually molding their view of the world in which they live. We support emergent curriculum, but incorporate periodic themes where we integrate several different learning areas including: Creative Curriculum, Science and Nature Exploration, Music and Movement, Sign Language, and Nutrition and Exercise. Our teachers enrich the environment daily to encourage child-directed exploration and sensorial learning. We take weekly field trips on our 14 passenger bus. We love to explore our community.
