tripadvisorA Home Away From HomeI stayed at Staybridge Suites Anchorage from October 27, 2025, until September 3, 2026—more than ten months. When you stay somewhere that long, it becomes much more than a hotel. For me and my family, Staybridge truly became our home away from home. What I appreciate most is how well my family and I were treated throughout our stay. Being away from home for such a long period isn't always easy, but the kindness and hospitality of the staff made a tremendous difference. I want to sincerely thank the entire Staybridge team for everything they did for us. There are also several people I especially want to recognize.John Agtang, Ginex Agtang, and Reina Agtang did an excellent job with breakfast every day. The breakfast area was consistently clean, organized, and well maintained, and they were always happy to help and provide great service. After being there for so many months, I was able to see just how consistent the quality of their work was.Reina and Destiny Kangas also deserve very special recognition for their work at the front desk. They were always extremely helpful, but more importantly, they genuinely made me feel at home. Whether I needed help with a room change, an invoice issue, an extension of my stay, or anything else that came up, they always worked with me and found a way to resolve things to my satisfaction. I truly appreciated knowing that I could approach them and they would do everything they could to help.Marc Nobles, from maintenance, was always diligent whenever something needed attention. What stood out to me even more was his kindness and empathy. He was genuinely pleasant to deal with and made you feel that he cared about helping.Petter Tuiloma, who I believe worked as a houseman, was another person who consistently provided great service. He was always nice, diligent, and willing to help whenever something was needed.Tenesita Agtang, from housekeeping, also deserves special recognition. My family and I loved when she cleaned our room because she did such a thorough job. When you're living in a hotel for this long, having someone put that much care into keeping your room clean and comfortable really matters. And I especially want to thank Boyd Trevor Bower, the manager. Boyd was always kind to us and did a great job making my family and me feel at home. He worked with me personally to make sure we could extend our stay when necessary, even during the hotel's peak season. I know that wasn't always easy to accommodate, and I genuinely appreciate the effort he made to help us.After more than ten months, there are obviously many more staff members who contributed to our experience, and I don't want anyone to feel left out simply because I didn't mention them by name. Thank you to the entire staff for the kindness, patience, hospitality, and great service you showed my family and me.When I think back on my time in Anchorage, Staybridge won't just be the hotel where I stayed. It was our home away from home, and the people there are what made it feel that way.Thank you all for taking such good care of us.
MoreClean and friendly, with the best complementary breakfast! Choices, both healthy or indulgent. Just a quick Uber ride to downtown.
MoreA very basic hotel for pre cruise stay.Good size rooms , reasonable breakfast , clean.Nothing special....no restaurant or Bar .Expensive because its high season ....would be half the price by the Airport in most cities . But it was clean....in Midtown....not far from airport or hotel.Walmart next door for supplies ...and Outback restaurant filled the bar void .Solid accommodations
MorePretty unfriendly staff. Pretty basic standard of breakfast. Won’t bother again
MoreFirst rate everything! Very comfortable and inviting. Excellent breakfast. Our go to place in Anchorage. Clean and comfortable suites.
