tripadvisorI am an artist and sold pieces through Jessel. She takes a larger percentage than most galleries. I was fine with that. Until the day came when Jessel was very inappropriate with another shop. She had contacted the other gallery and influence them to change their rates. VERY unethical to do that without my knowledge. I’ve since refused to work with her.
MoreThe artist is friendly and accommodating. Gave us free books which she promptly signed and let us take photos. She baked cookies.
MoreJessel Gallery is one of my “Go To” places in the valley, as it offers a fun, unique experience for both visitors and “locals”. The gallery is huge- The art in the gallery is always evolving, and at every visit there is something new to discover. There is a nice selection of custom jewelry at reasonable prices, a clothing boutique, and the best selection of original art from Napa Valley and beyond. The gallery owner, Jessel Miller, is also an accomplished artist. She offers weekly painting workshops that are customized to every level of experience. Classes can be a one time “experience “ or purchased as a four pack at a discounted rate. I have taken classes at the gallery. Great instruction, interesting people, and wine with lunch- very fun!
MoreThis gallery is Amazing. I discovered the Jessel Gallery a year ago and I go back as often as I can. It is absolutely amazing! This is absolutely worth visiting during your stay in Napa. Nestled off the beaten path among some newer tasting rooms, this gallery is a combination of authentic Napa Valley and a best kept secret. Owned and operated by a Napa local, Jessel Miller, your gallery was truly the WOW moment of my visit.
MoreWe were greeted by Jessel Miller with the smell of cookies baking. Jessel is in the final stages of writing a book. We enjoyed the collection of artwork (hers and other local artists), jewelry, pottery, vintage clothing, etc. All of this served up with complimentary refreshments and home made cookies. A pleasant stop.
