The colonial experience site is not well maintained but the tour guide Ellie made it all worth it. She not only was knowledgeable but very funny and animated. The whole family really enjoyed the experience.

We did the Colonial Quarter and Pirate Museum combo tour, and unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype. After reading so many positive reviews, we were really looking forward to it, but the experience was underwhelming. The tour guide was friendly and informative, but the overall tour lacked excitement and interactivity.We didn’t get to experience many of the hands-on elements or immersive features that others mentioned in reviews. It felt like we were just being walked through the motions. For the price we paid, we expected a lot more. We left feeling disappointed and like we didn’t get our money’s worth. Would not recommend this combination unless changes are made to make it more engaging.

This is a really informative experience but it was made great by our tour guide Ellie. Her enthusiasm and wit are exceptional. Definitely one of our best tours!

Ellie was our tour guide and she was AMAZING! She was so animated and really involved the audience and the children. She was a captivating storyteller and you could tell She really loved her job. We would do it again with Ellie!

This was my 2nd time enjoying this informative tour. It’s great that the person giving the tour holds both the adults and the children’s attention. It’s a great attraction to visit and learn about colonial history.
