As a new resident of Charleston, her Best of Historic Charleston walking tour opened me up to charming nooks & crannies I’d never seen nor would have found on my own. Jill’s delivery of historical knowledge was anything BUT dry & professorial, and her pleasant demeanor (as well as the pace of the tour) was most appreciated by her guests. Her other tours look very unique and inviting, so I look forward to accompanying her again soon!

Jill is AMAZING! I recently moved to Charleston, and exploring downtown with a knowledgable and friendly guide has been the best thing I have done so far in my new city. Jill's tour focused on many locations and stories that I otherwise probably would have never found or discovered. I would recommend a tour with Jill for both visitors to Charleston and to locals who have lived here for years. I cannot wait until my family comes to visit so that I can take them on one of Jill's tours!

Jill was knowledgeable, engaging and friendly. She had interesting insights and a great storyteller. We moved along without seeming rushed. She shared insider tips and dining recommendations. We had great fun!

Went on the Love Stories Tour with my Partner, and was pleasantly surprised. As a guy, I expected a Love Stories tour to be uninteresting, but Jill our Hostess was brilliant. She mixed history with folklore, and facts with fiction, told with a sense of humour that kept my attention, and she certainly knew her subjects. She would point out the best photo opportunities, and wait patiently till I was done, before moving along. The gardens and homes we saw were beautiful and made wonderful photos of our visit. We even managed to see some Guinea Fowl on Lamboll Street. This is an excellent tour, well worth the money and time. Highly recommended.

Jill's tour was a relaxing stroll through downtown Charleston. She has a good sense of humor and pointed out Charleston's unique quirks that I would never have noticed on my own. She read romantic poetry and also told funny stories about famous historical figures and their love lives. I never felt rushed to see everything at once like other tours. I highly recommend for both couple's and families.
