Based on my experience mtn bike level this trail was quite ride-able and flowing at times with some trail features thrown in for good measure. Not set in the most picturesque of settings this still offers some very good views. Usage was really low on the day I rode it. Condition of the trail was good. Fairly exposed ride and and not much shade to keep you cool. Ride/hike early in the warmer months.

It looks like you are driving into somebody’s backyard but follow the wooden fence and you will come to a gate and there is parking beyond. As you hike over the shoulder of Badger Mountain trail you see views of the “P-19” constructed from rocks and reflective material. The P-19 is to honor the 19 Granite Mountain Hotshots who died June 30, 2013 in a wildfire in the city of Yarnell. It connects to the Sundog Trail at AZ69. It is a single track trail with little shade. You see beautiful views of Granite Mountain and Watson Lake. It has some intermediate areas but most parts are well graded and very enjoyable to hike. Mountain bikers like this trail too.
