For the past 18 years, Denise practiced primarily in a hospital based setting, including internal medicine, cardiology and cardiothoracic surgery and heart/lung transplant programs. In search of more holistic options, she began extensive self study in integrative and alternative medicine. This lead to her enthusiasm and commitment to becoming a Functional Medicine practitioner, and being able to utilize her experience in allopathic medicine and incorporate them to create the potential to heal patients utilizing a more comprehensive approach and individualized care.
