tripadvisorSecond event here. Enjoyed both! Good service, great mic/acoustics, the architecture of the building is amazing.
MoreI went to the Stifel Theatre in St. Louis for the first time to see Ali Siddiq, and let me say—he was absolutely fantastic. His delivery, presence, and overall performance exceeded my expectations. Hands down, a great show.Unfortunately, what ruined the experience for me was the audience. Despite the theater’s no-smoking policy, patrons around me openly smoked marijuana and cigars. One person even lit a blunt right in my row. The secondhand smoke and secondhand high were not only uncomfortable but also incredibly disrespectful to other guests who came to enjoy the show. What surprised me most was that no staff member enforced the theater’s own rules. It left the impression that the environment was unmonitored, which took away from the otherwise incredible performance.Ali joked that people need to spend two months in prison just to learn respect—he wasn’t wrong. A little more respect and enforcement of the rules would have made this an unforgettable experience for all the right reasons.
MoreThe venue is great with concessions and convenient lavatories on 1st and 3rd floors. The steps are very steep though, so watch your step going up.PARKING: If you buy premier parking it will be for a VERY hard to find garage at the corner of 16th and Walnut. There is no landmark or neon sign for this garage. There is a small sign on the sidewalk. Make sure you know the name of the person who bought the parking.
MoreI drove quite a distance to buy my tickets in person at the box office to avoid multiple fees and wanted to have paper tickets. They did NOT give paper tickets, but sent a link to an app. I talked to their box office twice and they said if I drove down they would print the tickets for me. I was having issues with my phone and did not want to have to load an app. When I got there the box office agent WOULD NOT print my tickets. She sent a link to my phone which ended up disappearing. So after TWO trips of 60 miles I still had no tickets. I phone to file a complaint and she listened but never CALLED BACK. Then parking is terribly costly and we paid $28 to park 5 blocks away. They did not have the Enterprise Center parking open for ticket holders. No assistance from police to help you cross the street like the FOX Theater offers. No close parking and it will cost you plenty. Never going back....Fox theater for me.
MoreUncomfortable. If you are taller than 5.0 feet tall you will you will be miserable. I am 5’1. We left early too uncomfortable!! We sat in the balcony. Please take every other row out. It was ridiculous and embarrassing. Friends birthday celebration and we had to leave bc EVERYONE was UNCOMFORTABLE!!
