tripadvisorIS THERE A PERMIT REQUIRE FOR THE USE OF ANY SHELTERS on any given day and during HOLIDAYS?Reason I'm asking is because I was told by some man talking about his daughter has a permit for the holiday 4th of JULY 2021 at the Shelter I was sitting at. Im kind of glad he showed up the people that was there didn't do to much cleaning. Now his family can clean it up. LOVE TO HEAR FROM SOMEONE THAT WORKS FOR THE CITY OF DETROIT that will give STRAIGHT FACTS PERIOD. We move to another location has 4 tables very clean and no trash for us to clean up. All need to be done is sweep up that's it.GOD will send someone..
MoreI have been to Balduck Park many times - its a nice large open park with baseball diamonds, tabogan hill, and there's a fenced forest area with a good path.
MoreThis park is huuuuuuge. It has at least two playgrounds (one on each side of Chandler Park Dr), soccer fields, baseball diamonds, a huge hill great for rolling down or sledding, and plenty of space to walk your dogs, or jog, or picnic. There are fully enclosed bathrooms on the Mack side and semi-enclosed bathrooms on the 94 side (the wooded side). Parking is along the street on both sides, or in the lot behind the unwooded side(Mack side). The wooded side is great for small family get-togethers as it has picnic tables, a covered shelter, and lots of trees for shade. More uneven terrain than paved surfaces, so keep that in mind.
