This venue seats 1200 people and is located in downtown Walnut Creek. It offers three performance spaces: the 785-seat Hofmann Theatre, the 300-seat Margaret Lesher Theatre and the 130-seat Knight Stage, and hosts plays, concerts and dance productions. It was founded by Dean Lesher, a newspaper publisher, and opened its doors in 1990.

This is a very good theater, well-designed with good sight lines. So it is a good place to see a show and they have an elaborate schedule of all sort of acts. Very sophisticated for the suburbs. And it is located in the heart of downtown Walnut Creek which is full of very good restaurants, so dinner and a show is a good. idea.
MoreThis is a very good theater, an excellent place to see a show. There is a good parking garage next door that charges only $5 on an event night. Lots of restaurants and bars around for food and drink before and after the show. They have an interesting schedule of shows, check it out.
MoreWe went to this lovely theater for the first time for a very good jazz concert. The seats were very comfortable, good sight lines, very clean and organized. Friendly staff. Parking next door, but it takes a long time to get out of the garage with all of the traffic. Lots of food and drink all around. This is an excellent theater.
