Kingfish Pub and Cafe, is a beloved sports and dive bar that is a great place to hangout when in a group. The old pub was previously located just one block over on Claremont Avenue, and when they moved they took the building with them! Shuffleboard is the game that will liven the crowds, that are either playing or simply sitting and enjoying a drink and the game. Though you have to stick with the house rules of the game, it's still fun. The new incarnation of Kingfish includes a nice back patio with several TV screens. Just as with the old Kingfish, there's still always free popcorn.

tripadvisorIt's locally famous, a neighborhood pub that is extremely popular. You will find lots of beer and some fantasy football. And you will find the location in the very cool and happening Temescal district. Can be crowded inside.
MoreVery popular place and a bit of a neighborhood icon. It's been in this area for many years and all sorts of events happen here. But it is also just a good place to have a beer. They do have some food.
MoreStopped by on a rainy Friday that happened to be Cinco de Mayo. Friendly bartender made a great Margarita and Paloma. Fair prices and free popcorn..Felt like a true British pub..We were waiting for our son & his girlfriend..Great spot for a drink..The outside looked great for a sunny day. Sports on TV if that’s what you have in mind.
MoreA super divey dive bar. No frills interior but a nice covered outdoor patio in the back. Drinks are cheap with a wide selection of beers on tap. There's free self serve popcorn that unfortunately smells better than it tastes. It was a bit stale. There is a big shuffleboard table in the back.
MoreWe were dropping people off at the Oakland airport and had time to kill. We stopped in for a drink. The drinks were good. They don’t serve food but you can have it brought in which I like. I would return.
