This factory is the only place in North America that produces Yakult currently. (Apparently they expect to open a bigger factory on the east coast sometime in the future. ) It was fascinating to learn about the history and production of Yakult. I didn’t realize that Yakult originated in Japan. We saw display cases of all the different Yakult products produced for other countries globally. We also watched a short film featuring “Yakult man”, while sampling the two types of Yakult drinks that are produced for USA and Canada. They gave us a small calendar and a cute little squish-able Yakult toy to take home. Overall this is a fun educational tour. You do need to request reservations online beforehand. Parking is plentiful.
