It was as described. The home owner came out and talked for a few min about the tree and how it started. My daughter had fun and added her wish to the tree. A quick and fun thing to do while in Portland.

Found this attraction on Atlas Obscura and it was exactly as described. It's a tree right next to the sidewalk with literally thousands of wishes written on cards and tied to the branches. It was interesting to see the things visitors wrote and the dates they were there. Something different to see and not too touristy.

Fun free thing to do with the teenagers. We parked right next to it along the street. Safe neighborhood. We saw our first horse ring a few yards away.
