When I visit different places, I want an experience that I wouldn't normally have at home. But honestly, this is one of those experiences that You would repeat periodically on a staycation. Who would have thought that making your own candle could as relaxing and entertaining as it was? This place allows for a uniquely individual experience that is fun for the entire group!! And they have wine!!But I digress. This place is a playground for your nose. So if you are sensitive to smell, this may not be the outing for you. But for those that don't mind being taken away by exotic and not so exotic scents, then you must visit. You are allowed to choose your own scent, your own container, and create your own candle on the spot!! And if candles aren't your thing, I think they had air fresheners, lotions bath salts, body scrubs.. The staff was the epitome of southern hospitality and facilitated every aspect of our event by being helpful but not overly obtrusive all maintain a very fun lively upbeat but relaxed atmosphere. As you can see, we had a blast. We will definitely return. I saw them manage large groups as well as couples. Plus our entourage. Reservations are optional

We went to Augusta Candle Co. for my birthday and had so much fun! Not only did we have an amazing experience at a local business, but we also got to bring home our own customized candles! It is definitely something to try if you’ve never been here before, and even if you don’t want to make your own candle, you can buy a specially made one. I would advise though to plan a dinner reservation around your candle-making. We chose and mixed our scents and then went to dinner, and our candles were ready once we came back. I highly recommend this business for friends and families if you are ever in the downtown Augusta area, I promise you’ll have a lovely time!
