Pretty interesting spot that deserves at least a visit. I have been here at least 4 times during my trips to NYC in the last decade and had a great experience every one of them. People come here to connect with art, have fun and chill. As any place in Manhattan, there is always a nearby subway station. The best times to visit are early in the morning when there are less people or during sunset which delivers the best colors and pictures.

Washington Squared is a great place to sit and relax. The Arch that leads into the park is really cool and commands a great location at the north of the park.

This expansive city park is beautiful and a true hub of Lower Manhattan. Locals, tourists, chess players, students from nearby NYU and other colleges, and many others all congregate here in an atmosphere that is lively and peaceful at the same time.

This park was beautiful to experience in fall. The leaves on the ground were magical. Not very busy on the cold morning of my visit and didn’t stay much longer than 10mins due to a man yelling at people so I turned around and left to be on the safe side as I was travelling solo but enjoyed I did spend there

This spot is very iconic in movies. It’s where Sally dropped off Harry after college. Beautiful spot, tree in front was not decorated or lit today.
