Great shopping stop on Broughton Street, helpful staff and interesting variety of honey and bee related products. Highly recommend the mead tasting with Chase!!

Saw this place was listed on several “things to do in Savannah.” The employees are SUPER nice and helpful. They offer honey samples, pairing samples, Meade samples, and you can try the care products as well. We were worried about sizing of the containers, as we were flying, however, they ship! Definitely worth a stop!

I recently visited Savannah Bee Company and was left feeling disappointed. The prices are on the higher end, with mead bottles surpassing $40 and many items lacking clear pricing. My experience with their raw honeycomb was particularly disheartening; not only did it taste off, but after consulting with a friend who is an expert in honey production, it was confirmed that there was indeed something wrong with it. This was especially frustrating considering I paid $20 for it, expecting quality that was simply not there. Pure honey should have a distinct aroma and flavor that reflects its floral source, but this was lacking. Instead of the sweet, nuanced flavors characteristic of high-quality honey, what I got was a product that did not meet these basic criteria for good honey. I believe in paying for quality, but the products should justify their cost. Unfortunately, this was not the case, leading me to dispose of the product. While the staff were pleasant and the honey mead tasting enjoyable, the $25 fee felt excessive, as did the pricing for bottles. Despite these experiences, I appreciate the importance of transparent pricing. Regrettably, due to the disparity between cost and quality, I do not plan to return.

We learnt more than we expect and enjoy every minute. Mead and honey tasting well worth the money. The staff were all fantastic , informed and fun!

I LOVE this place! A trip to Savannah always includes stopping in the Savannah Bee Company Store. Their products make great souvenirs and gifts...from the honey to the other related products. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I am a little disappointed that they do not carry their Honey for Cheese which is one of my favorites.
