It is a beautiful beach! I love visiting here and walking along the boardwalk! The highlight is always seeing Sea Lions in July.

This beach, located at 5th Ave. at East Cliff Dr., is actually called Twin Lakes State Beach. There are many signs for Twin Lakes State Beach posted on the beach alongside East Cliff Dr. The beach is not that big, but it has a good view of Walton Lighthouse across the Santa Cruz Small Craft Harbor on the west side. It is pleasant to visit but no big loss if you miss it.

Area around the lighthouse is very nice and clean. We were there at low tide, so we could walk up to the lighthouse without getting drenched by breaking waves. Very cool!

We went to Santa Cruz Harbor Beach on a gorgeous sunny December day. Its a nice place to walk and see the views. We also had lunch at the Crow's Nest

Every Saturday morning from 10 til noon between 75-100 folks gather to play ukuleles and other instruments and enjoy themselves on the beach near the Santa Cruz Harbor at 5th and East Cliff. They started in 2004 and lan to keep going. Come and join us.
