We had an amazing experience getting our PADI Open Water Scuba Certification in beautiful Monterey Bay with Kent and Matt! They made the entire process fun, engaging, and something we genuinely looked forward to. Both were fantastic teachers who were patient, encouraging, and incredibly knowledgeable.What stood out most was how safe and comfortable they made us feel throughout the entire certification. We felt 100% supported in the water, especially while learning in the challenging conditions of Monterey Bay. They took the time to make sure we understood each skill and felt confident before moving forward. Their experience and wealth of knowledge really showed, and they were always happy to answer questions and share helpful tips.Getting certified in Monterey Bay was an incredible experience, and having Kent and Matt as our instructors made it even more memorable. We couldn't have asked for better instructors and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to get certified. We will absolutely be using them again for future certifications!

My daughter and I went on ASU's annual 5 day liveaboard SCUBA diving trip to the Channel Islands out of Santa Barbara Harbor on The Vision (Channel Islands Expeditions boat). The trip was EPIC! Ryan and Emily who own ASU and were on the trip with their kids, could not have been friendlier and more helpful. The ship was comfortable and the food was outstanding. Diving was outstanding, with the ability to do 3-4 dives every day. My daughter rented gear from ASU (gear was provided for free since we were on the trip). Even though the dive sites were close to each other, each site had it unique highlights and ecosystems. If you are a diver and want to experience the ultimate kelp diving ecosystem experience, this IS the trip for you.
