We were looking forward to the Musical Highway and hearing America the Beautiful as we drove along. Knowing that signs had been removed we mapped out its location and still had trouble finding it. We were left disappointed when only a small portion of the song remains. It's a shame that New Mexico did not refurbish this iconic site for the 100th anniversary of the Mother Road.

Absolutely wonderful. Set your cruise to 45mph. Place your right tire just on the inside of the white line. Plays 'America the Beautiful'. Start of it is marked on Google Maps. Really fun and you could hear the highway clearly; unlike anything else! Would totally go again.

It's there! We just found it! It's on the road itself, not like a rumble strip on the side of the road. If you drive steady 45 mph, you'll hear it. The last part was a little patched over, but you can hear it. It is right before mile maker 5, east bound, rte 66.

Very disappointed. It's gone! They've paved over the grooves on the side so there is no noise at all. We knew the signage had been removed but hoped the ridges would still be the there

This was so cool! They've taken the signs down, but you can still hear the music. We drove it several times.
