tripadvisorI definitely would think twice about ever booking another concert package with this resort, Prior to this, we absolutely loved Sandia Casino But when a concert is canceled due to weather, they really should be refunding people’s money or at least rescheduling the concert. We still have yet to hear from them. We’re hoping they do the right thing.
MoreI attended the Brother Osborne concert here in July. I had read reviews on TripAdvisor that folks were not allowed to stand or dance, and was concerned about the experience. However, we experienced no such restrictions. T.J. kept urging us to stand and most of us did throughout the concert. Even when I sat down and folks stood in front of me, I had a pretty good view. All the seats seem to have terrific views of the stage, there was not problem with any tents in the way, security was friendly and relaxed but alert, and the concession stands were affordable and reasonable. The sound also was excellent (bar the need to fix some of the bass at certain points on the part of the techs). I highly recommend this for live concerts!
MoreWent with another couple to enjoy the concert. Had two drunk/over served individuals behind us that were loud and really made it impossible to enjoy the show. When contacted security, they said there was nothing they could do, except to make both the two drunks and us to leave if we could not get along. Went and got a Sandia Policeman and all he said was it was a concert and they were allowed to have fun and enjoy the show. Even though they were ruining the experience for all in the area, both security and the Sandia Policeman refused to do anything about it. Paid for a nice concert but did not get the experience expected.
MoreWe’ve seen several concerts here and always had a great time. Amphitheater holds 4,000 people, seats are comfortable and you can see we’ll from anywhere. Good concession stands. Enjoy!
MoreThe venue is small, which is great since every seat in good. Unless, you sit to the left of the stage and they put up a tent to cover the sound equipment. We asked to be moved or a refund but were told the concert was sold out. I will be posting on all social media to not attend events at this venue. Very disappointed with Sandia Resort and Casino.
