This park has so many unique trails that you could easily walk for 1-2 hrs and not cover it all. As with most of McKinney you will go through lots of creeks, greenbelts and small parks. Most of McKinney parks connect so you get to see several different Waters, playgrounds, and landscaping.There are several advanced playgrounds including zip lines and unique chair swings and most of the equipments are all kids friendly. There’s also a full, advanced outdoor gym in the center of the park and a stage that is used by locals for yoga, group exercise, and business meetings.Very bike friendly with tons of long and not crowded trails. It’s also pet friendly with a huge dog park attached to it. If they had 2-3 food trucks or food stands this would be a top 5 park in DFW. There’s a neighborhood Walmart and a street taco shop next to the park.

During these time Bonnie Wenk is a great place to hangout with your family... right now it looks very European with so many people bringing blankets and pick nicking while keeping so social distance. There are tons of trails with a few facing water futures and many with shades... with one of highlights of McKinney Park concepts, this park connects to several other parks with easy walking and access. Easy walk to a coffee shop, Bahama Bucks, and Walmart neighborhood in case you forgot something.... great pond to fish and lots of green area to play.

The play equipment here is unlike other pars as they are unique. The zip lines are something else and kids challenge other kids So much fun and with the nearby dod park, there is much to see.

Take your valuables with you. Undesirables are watching you leave your vehicle without your belongings and even if you hide them, they are bold and will break in!!!! Speaking from experience! Lesson Learned. Costly mistake!

This park has it all... it’s in the middle of the city and easy to get to with plenty clean bathrooms.They’ve 3 playgrounds for all that includes zip lines.Nice pond and beautiful shaded trails. It also has a huge performing stage.
