tripadvisorI love going to Waco. Today my husband and I met our adult daughter half way between Cedar Park (Austin) and Fort Worth at Indian Springs Park by the Brazos River and walked along the suspension bridge. Then we enjoyed a nice lunch at Crickets Draft House and Grill and then went upstairs and wandered through Spice Village and ended our time with a delicious Dr. Pepper float after learning about all kinds of interesting details about carbonated beverages at the Dr. Pepper Museum. It was a wonderful day!
MoreRight on the Brazos river in Waco we were surprised to find these sculptures. This is a larger than life and extensive display marking where the Chisholm trail crossed the Brazos River. It is well worth a stop for closer look.
MoreGreat statues that tell a story as you walk amongst them. The area is well kept and it is just a relaxing place to visit. Worth a look if you’re in the area.
MoreThe Branding the Brazos Sculpture is life-sized and beautiful. It takes up a lot of room at the beginning or end (depending on where you start) of the pedestrian Suspension bridge in Waco. It is only a short excursion, but well worth seeing.
MoreVery pretty area to explore. You can spend many hours here. Also the walk across the suspension bridge is very scenic
