FAO Schwarz presents a spectacular experience for children of all ages. Their one-of-a-kind toys, gifts and collectibles are unlike anything you've seen elsewhere. There's even a nursery where you can adopt a newborn baby doll, or perhaps you'd like a Thomas the Tank Engine track with your name on it. FAO Schwarz is a place to go nuts with every kind of toy under the sun, right down to the kid-sized Mercedes 500SL or up to seven-foot tall polar bear!

tripadvisorWe did the VIP shopping. Shannon and Lindsay were absolutely amazing and the best guides! My grandkids had the best time thanks to them! We also had the jelly cat diner experience which was so much fun!
MoreMy very first time in NYC, and I wanted to live my NYC childhood fantasy by visiting this place. I grew up on movies like “ Big”, and “home alone 2” (which I know was only based on fao s). So I had to check it out!You are greeted by a live toy soldier, which elevates the experience. You can find every kind of toy here. Not only a fan for children, but adults like myself, come here and relive their giant piano dream. My favorites are the jelly cat, NYC collectibles, and just window shopping. Great place to check out at the Rockefeller Center.
MoreThe staff are very welcoming and friendly. We waited 5 minutes outside. Don’t let the queue put u off since it nearly did with us but it went down so quick. It’s very busy and hot inside once your in. We went around 10:30am and it was really busy. I recommend the bunnies in the bay and u can get them personalised if you want too. The only downside is they don’t tell you can’t pay there unless you get your bunny personalised. If u don’t get it personalised you have to pay downstairs in a 30min queue. I also recommend the jelly cat section since you will see some amazing jelly cats. The queue goes down quite quickly but is still a very long wait since the queue is massive
MoreThis is a cannot miss when you are in New York City. Every inch of here is magical and transports you to a different world. I would venture as far as to say that if you do not come here during your NYC visit, then you did not truly experience NYC.
MoreWent with my family to FAO Schwartz and booked the VIP 1.5 tour. It was worth every penney. We had Dustin as our guide and he was amazing. He was so friendly, informative and helpful. He helped us pick out the perfect items to take back home with us. The whole process was seamless and fun. I would definitely do it again next time I'm in NYC>
