Christina Bui is a Vietnamese American designer with talent and passion that passed down from generations. In 2007 she took the lead of a family-owned business to preserve Vietnamese culture and art through fashion, drawing on her great taste, fashion background, and practicality combined with her awareness of what makes people comfortable. This preservation did not hold her back from creating a collection of áo dài that reflects both her Vietnamese heritage and her current American home. She took a unique approach to áo dài with inspiration from Western and Vietnamese designs to create avant-garde áo dài pieces that remain a common fixture for upscale events and in daily life. Her craft reflects a rich cultural background with experience working with the fashion powerhouses. Her couture speaks of her remarkable ability to evolve in response to time and place. She gives in to the will of pragmatism as the Vietnamese ties to the West have grown.
