The Do Re Mi Music Studio is run by Lora Kompelmakher ("Ms. Lora") and specializes in piano and music education for students ages 5-18. Ms. Lora teaches individual one-on-one piano lessons in her homey studio where students acquire piano proficiency and solid knowledge of musical theory and form. A Russian trained music educator, Ms. Lora nurtures each student's expressive faculty and their unique performance personality and builds opportunities for students to collaborate together for annual recitals. Her involvement and leadership in organizations such as Music Teacher Association of California (MTAC) and San Jose International Piano Competition provides students with an opportunity to participate in the larger Bay Area music community through various music festivals, recitals and piano competitions.
