It’s just paper. We care anyway. Czar Press is a specialty print shop in Irvine: about 25 of us, running presses between 80 and 100 years old, with digital printing alongside them. We do letterpress (the design is pressed into the paper so you can feel it), hot foil stamping (real metallic foil, pressed on with heat), embossing (the design raised up out of the paper), digital printing, die cutting and finishing. Before anything goes on press, we check that your idea will work on the paper you’ve chosen and help fix what won’t. We don’t design in-house, so bring finished artwork, from your designer or your own, and we’ll take it from there. Partnering in print since 2007.
