tripadvisorQuaint museum with beautiful art. Enjoyed the friendly staff, felt welcome and encouraged to come back. Took friend who was visiting from out of town there.
MoreThe Merced Multicultural Arts Center (MAC) is another of the hidden gems of Merced. Mr. Colton Dennis and his team have created a hub of events for the residents of Merced and the surrounding area. Highquality musicals, plays and concerts can be found weekly. Art shows and exhibits are fun year round. Dance, ballent and ukulele groups among others use the facility for practice. On a rainy day, stop by and even bring the kids as often time there are speical events for the kids too.
MoreThe Merced Multicultural Arts Center is a wonderful exhibition and performance venue in Merced. The art shows are always well attended and the art, whether local or from outside the area, is always of high quality and displayed wonderfully.
MoreFrom exhibits to performances, the MAC always has great activities for families and is a wonderful asset to our community.
MoreThe new Executive Director has started to use MAC as a moniker to refer to the Mercec Multiculturar Arts Center, and I hope it will click. I worked there for a year, and saw it evolve and become a focal point in downtown Merced. It can, and will, serve as a model it other valley communities of what can be done when local talent is provided a venue to promote the arts.
