Beautiful art deco completely redone in the theater! A wide variety of snacks and beverages including cocktails and wine. Restrooms are mostly down two or three steps, although there is one single bathroom at entry level. A fairly steep slope from the ground floor area into the seating area. I had a lot of trouble with this when I needed to use a walker.

This is the best movie theatre in Modesto. This is a local theatre with lots of good movies to choose from. They also have concessions, and do other live shows in addition to the movies.

Great place, seats are comfortable. We come every year for my granddaughters recital. They have food/popcorn and drinks. It's very easy to purchase and redeem tickets.

The choices are the most interesting of the new movies released. This is a local theatre and worthy of our support.

The State Theater shows quality films that other venues do not show. It's a beautiful old theater with art deco design comfortable seats and a warm atmosphere. They serve wine and beer and popcorn with real butter. Many other snacks as well. The art deco was redone and it is glorious. It is definitely the place to be in Modesto 4 film music comedy Etc
