ADA accessable and beautiful lush gardens! Paved and not that busy. I took my mom here and she really enjoyed it.

this botanical garden might be a great experience if you could see it, but all of the trails were roped off and closed. We did climb down a long set of steps to a dry, creek bed but there was nowhere to go. There’s also a bridge from the parking lot to an Australian exhibit however, that was also blocked off. This could potentially be fun, but not today.

Admission is free, which is nice, but be advised that the parking lot is very small. They provide a map but it wasn't much help. When you're on the lower level you don't hear the road noise and it's quite nice.

An extensive natural spot. An underrated gem. Nicknamed The tropical jewel of the Botanical Gardens. Free of Charge, which is a rarity on the Hawaiian islands. Meticulously attended. Huge variety - mostly marked - of greenery. Paths are naturally placed. Leased in 1920 by Sugar Planters Association from the Sate of Hawaii for experimental tree planting. Later turned back to Honolulu and became the Botanical Garden of Oahu. The huge trees originated in 1920 still standing strong.

These gardens are beautiful and worth the trip! The trees are well marked. There are several terraces that can be accessed by anyone, as well as a couple that requires steps. There are peaceful places just to sit and take it all in.
