Located on historic Waipahu Depot Road in the shadow of the plantation smokestack, this coffee shop is a place for those who start early and want their coffee fresh and hot. The restaurant served plantation workers in the old days and has occupied the same location for more than a generation, serving the same workers' grandchildren. Their pancakes are served to this day just as many children from older generations remember them. The decor is simple and clean, but the atmosphere is far more than the plain walls will reveal. The atmosphere fills with the hearts and minds of old timers who still come for coffee to share their plantation war stories.
