We have been staying at the coconut waikiki for more than 15 years, back when it was a Best Western, then Joie de Vivre and now Filament Hospitality. We are very disappointed that the current front desk manager will not provide any returning guest discount or resort fee waiver. This is not a nice way to treat loyal and frequent guests. We will be taking our business elsewhere. Very sad.

MoreWe recently spent 14 nights in an Executive Suite at the Coconut Waikiki Hotel, and it was a wonderful vacation! The staff truly are the hotel's gems—from the front desk ladies to the housekeepers and valet team. Everyone was incredibly friendly, patient, and accommodating. When we requested fresh towels, linens, and trash removal, it was taken care of immediately.Our suite was clean and comfortable. The kitchenette was incredibly convenient, featuring a microwave, dishes, and cutlery. We were also very pleased with the room's functionality: the beds were comfortable, the shower had strong water pressure with great drainage, and the air conditioning ran quietly. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so special!

MoreWow—what a pleasant surprise! Some people mention that the hotel, particularly the rooms, feels a little dated, and while the bathroom may be on the smaller side, the location is absolutely amazing and offers great value for money.The filtered fresh water was a lovely bonus, and the daily fresh popcorn from 5–7 pm was a fun touch. The coffee didn’t quite suit my taste, but I would still happily give the hotel a 10/10 overall.The gym is small but excellent, with a great range of high-quality equipment. I also appreciated the nice kitchenette and having a kettle in the room. The staff were incredibly friendly throughout our stay, Coconut Waikiki really is fabulous.There’s no breakfast provided, but that just gave us the chance to explore some of the many lovely places nearby (easily found on Google!).
