My driver (Gordon) was looking at porn and naked women while driving! Incredibly unprofessional and was an absolute creep. Contacted Hood River Taxi services and told them about my experience and they implied I made the whole thing up even though I had video proof. DO NOT use this company. Charged me $250 for a very unsafe, uncomfortable ride. Absolutely disgusting.

Agree with the previous recent reviewer! Doesn't deserve any stars! Have to wait, in my case 20 minutes, not too bad, but during slow time of day. Fare based on Google Maps, $3/mile. Didn't have access to google at the time, so relied on what driver said. He quoted 15 miles. After dropped off Google'd it, only 12 miles, thus an extra $9 added by driver, plus $5 pick-up fee??? $50 for actual $36 fare. Called the next day to question millage and was treated to a belligerent conversation including several F bombs, apparently driver has different Google Maps than the rest of us! Then went on to berate 'rich people', like this had anything to do with it? This all coming from driver who gave me a lecture during the 15 minute ride how respect is earned! Go figure. Only show in town and they know it. Look at all previous reviews, not making this up! Ricky Bobby sold company over a year ago.

They charged us 25 to get to our destination and 75 to leave. Up charging is understandable but when I asked why the charge was triple, he told me to get out of his vehicle. No explanation as to why we would pay 3x the rate. Please, make sure you can drive your own car in this poop town

Do not use!!! Called them for a Taxi on 6/30/18 explained I needed a taxi, was quoted a price and a time between 3:15 pm and 3:20 pm. I explained I had a wedding to go to, in a blind panic at 3:30 pm, I begged a neighbor to give me a ride. The cell phone I was using (not mine) the person had already left and I couldn't call the cab company back to dismiss them. Apparently they called the person I was borrowing the cell phone from and left a NASTY message, from 541-399-9954, stating you shoud have called us and told us you were leaving. IF they had been there when they stated they would, I WOULD have been there. The person I borrowed the phone from stated they called at 3:45 pm, 25 minutes after they had already quoted, after I had told them I had a wedding to attend. I felt bad, so I called them back the next to explain apologize and use their service again, The man who answered, (before I could explain) stated we were there you should have called (which I would have) and hung up. Completely unprofessional and disappointing.

Wow. This guy is a memorable drive. Fair fares for sure! I would use him again. He is a very talkative with embellished stories. But a fun and nice person.
