I just wanted to give a shout out to the amazing team at Tualatin Valley Nature Center! Aimée Nighswonger was so helpful when my family wanted to plan an intimate gathering at one of the nature parks for our mom's memorial. She went above and beyond to see what was possible. The nature parks were in the middle of their day camps and timing was tight, but she and her team (including Jacob Kerr) made it happen! The nature park was one of our mom's favorite spots and we felt like we made her proud! The parks are gorgeous and well maintained, but they also employ exemplary people. Thank you, Aimee and team!

I visit Beaverton frequently to see family and always make a point to get a morning walk/birdwatching session here. It’s a perfect place to get grounded, soak up nature, and unwind from traveling.

This nature park is one of a few little oases in the Beaverton area. Even though it is surrounded by suburban traffic, when you’re inside it is so peaceful and idyllic. THPRD often hosts children’s camps as well as seasonal events here. My son and I have enjoyed family nights out here to watch for bats, and I often take leisurely strolls here mid day to beat the summer here. A great place to escape the heat that is easy to access.

Was just curious about electric kick style scooters are allowed in the park. As also are adult electric kick scooters allowed.

Another beautiful park in this area. Easy access parking. It was rainy the day we were there but lots of hiking/walking trails. Wonderful place for children .
