Great place to explore downtown Portland. Love the large bathtub for 2 and the porch as well. Very friendly and helpful staff. I needed access for a zoom call after I checked out, and the hotel accommodated me.

We've stayed twice at the Paramount and it will continue to be our go to. It's towards the south end of downtown, so much quieter. When we've stayed more centrally (we're in Portland often), the street preachers with megaphones and protest noise were issues. I'm not against these things on principle, but at 7 am on a getaway need my rest! The staff at the Paramount have been consistently excellent, the food solid. The beds are just a hair less comfortable than our brand new hotel bed at home, which is high praise! Standard king rooms offer a soaking tub in addition to a walk in shower. The tubs include a nonslip mat, but an additional handrail would be helpful as they can be slick. There's a mini fridge in the room without an honor bar, so you're free to use the entire space. I wish there had been a small microwave, as the portions in Portland are generous and sometimes I'd like a bit of my leftovers! But otherwise the space has everything we need. The option to pay a little extra for very early check in or very late check out is so helpful. I have disabilities anneed a bit of extra rest before we travel. I wish we could know sooner than the morning of though, I'd sleep a little easier!
