The old Haltom Theater on Belknap has finally come back to life, and its kickin’! This is now a new music venue with a great listening room, two bars, and a short menu restaurant. At first appearance it may look a little below standards of a five star venue, but the sound is great! Nice stage, good drinks, and the room fills up with live music in Haltom City!! The tacos and nachos were even good! Try it out!

We went for a concert and paid $8/pp for VIP seating, which is basically a section in the back, closest to the bar. We got there early to walk around and look at everything since it was our first visit. There is a section for watching TV, there is an old movie screen with the original seats by the food where you can watch classics. The concerts are on stage in front of the movie screen. The beers were iced down and were super cold. It was a fun experience!

Saw Bill Whittington on their second night open.Early arrivals had to park the farthest away and walk in the mud. The restaurant part had a few orders skipped. The flow of the line was confusing.Both restrooms had overflowing toilets and were closed for a while.Despite the difficulties, this will be a good music venue. I will give them a little time to iron out the kinks, and then return.
