The AATMA Performing Arts dance school was founded in 2009 to bridge the gap between Indian and modern forms of movement. The school prides itself in providing a strong foundation in ballet, Indian classical dance, and modern street styles (Hip-Hop and Bollywood). As an Indian dance company who primarily uses Bollywood music, we teach our students not onlyÊdiscipline in body movement, but the art of facial expression and stage presence, while providing an understanding of lyrics and culture to enhance our students' depth of performance. We make it our goal to encourage and empower our students to become better dancers and more confident performers.Ê
