This is the oldest Jewish cemetery in Houston and many notable and famous Houstonians are buried here. The cemetery is well maintained and easy to get into from Allen Parkway. Jewish cemeteries usually won't have religious statues like Christian cemeteries but the marble and granite monuments are very nice and interesting. Most headstones and grave markers are in both Hebrew and English. Nice place to just visit and enjoy the fresh air.
