tripadvisorWhat a gem! The late night happy hour was a delight to find. Relaxed atmosphere. Good prices. Delicious food! And they have ginger beer! We've gone late night at well as spending New Year's there. The Brussels sprouts are surprisingly delicious! The table of picky eaters devoured it! The pretzel, sausage and beer cheese is not to be missed.. the sausage is spicy and the cheese smoothes it out nicely. The meat lovers breakfast is great, as are the pulled pork sliders, burger, and French dip. And they have Ren & Chinchilla on the jukebox! The staff will happily turn off their music if you want to play the jukebox.. just ask! Also Free Pool!
MoreThe owner moved out of state and the crazies took over the asylum. This bar has steadily gone downhill in the last year. The food is terrible and extremely small portions, the drink prices are ridiculous and the crappy attitudes of the staff is just too much to have to endure. As a last ditch effort to try to recover the revenue that they have obviously been losing, they made the joint family friendly now in addition to lousy service, high prices and crappy food, you have to put up with kids running around the place. Do yourself a favor, drive past this dump, don't stop, go anywhere other than Gators if you value your health and sanity
MoreFound this place by accident. My wife & I arrived at lunch time and was greeted by Kim. She was very cheerful, handed us menus and asked if we wanted anything to drink. They were cleaning the taps (they have a bunch) so we had iced tea. I ordered the Gator burger and Kim said that was at least a 3 napkin burger. It had a thick burger patty, ham, bacon, egg, special sauce, normal veggies in a big bun. It came with at least a half pound of fries & a pickle slice. It was juicy, messy & delicious! My wife had the bacon, cheese burger and it was more than she could eat and half her fries was still on the plate. We have gone back once and we will eat there again in a week or so..
MoreMy husband and I eat here every time we are in the Portland area. It's been about ten years now. This last time we both noticed that the food quality had declined. My husband ordered dry wings with buffalo sauce and ranch on the side. He got teriyaki wings with no sauce. I ordered chips with bean dip salsa. Chips were stale, bean dip was simply cold beans. Salsa was just tomato liquid. The next night our chips were hot and fresh, bean dip was warm with melted cheese, and the salsa freshly made. If you don't mind the crapshoot, the bar is fun and lively with locals who are generally friendly.
MorePlace was recommended to me by a local. It is a typical neighborhood pub. Inexpensive drinks, good food and service. After only one visit Debbie remembered my name and what I like to drink. Now that's a good bartender.
