We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, especially for the price! We visited on steak night, and for just $10, we got a genuinely good steak. We were shocked because you can barely get fast food for that price these days, let alone a freshly cooked meal.My steak was cooked perfectly and tasted great. The tater tots were hot and crispy, and Colby said his burger was delicious as well. They also have a decent sized parking lot, and the drinks were very reasonably priced.Our waitress was brand new, and despite it being her first day, she did a great job. We appreciated that she wasn’t afraid to ask questions to make sure everything was correct. Overall, we really enjoyed our experience and definitely plan to come back for one of their live music nights.

Made an accidental stop while in town waiting for the baseball game to start since the bar we planned to go to wasn’t open yet and I’m glad we did. Fun atmosphere especially for St Patrick’s day. We had the Rueben and tots for $7 and it was the best Rueben I’ve ever eaten. The meat wasn’t “lunch meat”. It was flavorful tender homemade corned beef! My husband had the $7 fish and tots and it was good also. We would definitely visit again.

My husband and I stopped by for an afternoon bloody mary and were were not disappointed. We were greeted immediately by Corey, who told us the story of the Pub and how it is not owned by the same people that called it Mother's. We had a delicious bloody mary with cheese, olives, pickles and bacon. The bar had half price appetizers on the day we went so we ended up having a bite to eat, as well. Food that was coming out of the kitchen was quick and looked great. I could see how this would be a popular establishment among families visiting UF as well as students. Prices are very reasonable.

So I ordered take out and as most folks know not all take it is 100% AMAZING By the time you get it home. Not this place. Kudos to the kitchen there. Burger was cooked a perfect Medium as I requested lettuce was crisp. Tomato was perfectly sliced and was not soggy, neither was the Bun. I also got a side of their Ranch dressing that I could drink it’s so yummy. The Caesar Salad was super fresh with No and I mean ABSOLUTELY no wilted lettuce. I honestly can’t say enough good things about their food it’s just really really good so 10 gold stars for you all over at Mother’s Pub
