The admissions process to this school is absolutely horrible. Very little communication on what is going on and their 'Beaver Basecamp' system is a joke. It's very disorganized. Admission staff doesn't seem to know what they are talking about. My overall impression of the school was very low. Pulled my application and went elsewhere. I won't bother unless you are a fresh out of high school student, because that is all they seem to care about (trying to get those US College ratings up is my guess...)

The admissions process is awful. You go to a site called Beaver Basscamp which will have you start your application process. Your application will get stuck in “waiting on documents” or “under review” but in actuality they are waiting for something from you but you have zero idea. I had to chat with them to find my application was stuck and required my attention twice. They should be calling me to resolve or at the least it should reflect on the basecamp site. I was so disgusted by the site and the help I received (really didn’t receive) I missed out on a semester enrollment. How could I possibly expect a quality education from an institution that can’t even figure out admissions. Go to a different university, avoid the stress.

I decided to check out the university while staying in the town. The campus was beautiful, with some emphasis on agricultural theme. The flowers were bloomed so it added some beauty to the overall scenery. Some metered parings available for visitor.

While we were off to a rocky start after deferring admission to take a gap year. The START new student orientation gave us the peace of mind when we drop our daughter off in the fall. They have so many resources and support for students (writing center, art center, mental health resources, and more)
