We spent a Saturday touring New Castle and stumbled upon this gallery. We popped in and chatted with Dennis Young the Artist/Owner and he shared the background on a number of the paintings. The gallery is packed with original paintings of the New Castle, DE area. Being new to DE his insight was simply fascinating. The gallery is no to be missed.

One of the finest galleries around. Located in historic New Castle,the Mo'zart Gallery is owned by,and features the wonderful work of, Delaware artist Dennis Young. His pastels are my favorites. Dennis is a renowned, award-winning plein air artist & if you're lucky you may also see him out & about town painting some amazing vista. His gallery/studio is also steps away from some fine restaurants, shops & historic landmarks. So make a day of it, with your first stop the Mo'zart Gallery!

You will not be disappointed if you stop in on Friday nights during the summer. Dennis is the most talented artist and his work will help you see the emotion that he feels for his surroundings. Be it his lovely models or the shaded sidewalks in old New Castle, the colors will sooth and calm you. A lovely stop on a warm day will surprise you while you make your way to the river walk. I have purchased his work and love having it in my home.
