We recently attended a concert at this park. It was very clean and the porta potties were the best I have ever seen. It was so cool to be able to bring in your own food and drinks. Lots of people of all ages. Beautiful weather. Food vendors for the event were great and reasonably priced.

Concerts are held in this great river park during the summer on Monday and Thursday nights. Arrive early, especially on Thursdays as the crowds can be big. Free to attend.

The best thing about this park is that during the summer there are events such as river rythems and movies at night. I don't go any other time because the one time we tried to have a picnic lunch here there were some shady people hanging around and some digging through the trash. There is river access and bathrooms but they aren't open year round.

This park is situated where the Caloopia River meets the Williamette River. Its the back drop and offers swimming and fishing. The park has bathroom facilities and covered atea for year around get togethers. In the summer months it hosts the weekly music festivities. It has a nice stage and because it sits at the bottom of parks grassy slopping meadow it makes for a great area to bring blankets to sit on while enjoying musical performance's. You can also bring your own folding chair and sit behind the area just for blankets. There are food carts at most events that offer many snacks or dinners. Parking is limited so look for a spot nearby within walking distance for large events. Also summer months allow for family get togethers as there are BBQ's and picnic tables throughout the park. You might find yourself there when class reunions or family reunions are taking place. There are paved paths along the river behind the Senior Center to stroll or jog in good weather. It is very close to the Albany's new Carousal and downtown shops and restaurants. It's just a great place to see and visit.
