Gulf Coast Jewish Family Services is a nonprofit, community-based, nonsectarian agency. Founded in 1960, the agency has been helping infants, children, families and elders suffering from physical and mental disorders, and social, medical and financial crisis. Its children s services include in-home protective supervision, short-term parenting and home care skill teaching, violence and drug use reduction program and mentoring. The agency also offers various mental health and community development services. The agency offers its services throughout Highlands, Pinellas, Pasco, DeSoto, Hardee, Hillsborough, Polk, Sarasota, Manatee, Hernando, Lee, Broward and Miami-Dade counties in Florida. Headquartered in Clearwater, Fla., the agency is approved by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.
