From sheltering 155 students in the first year of its operation to now being a full-fledged pioneer in education and research, this university has come a long way. Nestled along the banks of Willamette River in the heart of the Willamette Valley, the university is home to over seventy buildings which span an array of eras and architectural styles, out of which Deady and Villard Halls are the two oldest remaining buildings, both built in the Empire-style and listed as United States National Historic Landmarks. Founded in 1876, the university is home to a troupe of schools and colleges which impart knowledge across the disciplines of design, communication, law, sciences, and arts. Alma mater to notable personalities like Ann Curry and Ty Burrell, the University of Oregon is well regarded for its educational excellence.

tripadvisorAmazing place to stay. Friendly staff, comfortable rooms and good breakfast.
MoreHad a great time touring the campus, the vintage buildings, the historic cemetery, of course a stop at Starbucks. Wonderful school to visit.
MoreSpeaking as a very former Duck, the changes that have taken place on campus are nothing short of architecturally spectacular. I want to go to college all over again. It's a sheer pleasure just walking through the buildings and marveling at the beauty.
MoreAside from the parking and nearby homeless issue, this is a great campus, packed with beautiful nature and architecture. Some of the best programs in the nation, it's considered the Ivy League of the West Coast. Feels small town but offers some rich experiences.
MoreDiversity? Absolutely NOT, a very racist environment and last not the least a money pit; they want to milk the students (out of state students) and parents in every way they can and your student can NEVER become a resident even if you buy a property and the student works and pays taxes for a couple of years. Basically, it’s all about money.
