The Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art at the University of Oregon exhibits world renowned artists of the 19th and the 20th century. The highlight of the museum is its 12500 piece art collection from all over the world. The museum holds a number of exhibitions and events depicting art from the American, European, Russian and Asian culture. This museum even has a research center open to the public to study the famous artists of the world.

MoreThe Schnitzer is a treasure. I bring my Mom here once a month to see the new exhibits. Highly recommend to anyone visiting UO, as it is right in the center of campus.
MoreA great little museum! We've seen amazing Russian iconography from the 14th century and the Barbarini tapestries, which are so astonishing they defy description! Such an unusual mix of modern and ancient, worldly and community. Wonderful Americana, native art, student contributions, and international contributions. I feel so lucky to have this in my neighborhood, and at such an affordable price. Please visit. It's very worth your time.
